Security and Compliance Analyst
Start Date: January 4, 2024
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
The drive to help others. It’s all about making a positive impact inside and outside of my job roles, and FES has the best people working at the company so it’s easy to come to work every day!
What do you do at our company and what was your start date?
I serve as a Security Compliance Analyst, focusing on quality assurance and compliance with security standards. I officially started full-time on January 4th, 2024, but my journey began as a contractor in August 2023.
What is something people don’t know about you?
I am self identifying as an extreme-ish activities enthusiast with a strong competitive side. From playing softball competitively to joining the Marine Corps and finding a love for hiking to far and high places, to Scuba Diving and then Skydiving Competitively (even snagging a state record and a gold medal at the USA Nationals!), to my latest passion for snowboarding…and I’m planning to jump into paramotoring or kite surfing this summer!
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Turn passion into purpose, dreams into destinations
What is something on your Bucket List?
To witness the Northern Lights through a glass igloo in Finland.
What was your childhood dream job?
Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a Civil Engineer or Architect. The thought of designing large, impactful structures always fascinated me, blending creativity with utility.
What is one random fact about you?
Ironically, I’m actually afraid of heights. It doesn’t stop me from my adventurous pursuits, but let’s just say I’m frequently reminded of it.
Who is on your Mount Rushmore of musical acts?
This one is hard because I like such a wide variety of artists, but if I picked two, maybe I would say Snoop Dogg (iconic) and Eric Hutchinson because he was the first artist that got me to like music other than country and classic rock.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Traveling (I’m planning on RV’ing around the U.S. this year), PC Gaming, and being an amateur botanist. I have a lot of thriving plants and enjoy propagating more.
Other than Nebraska, have you lived elsewhere? If so, where, and what brought you to Nebraska.
I’ve never actually lived in or visited Nebraska. I grew up in Pennsylvania, followed by Texas during my military service, then to Southern California for six years, and now I find myself in Las Vegas. I’m hoping to visit Nebraska soon!
